Episodes are super well researched and thought out. I loved that Jordie and Brad also provide additional resources for people to do more research in the episodes. I didn’t think about how much true crime changes when you think about it from a queer perspective before finding this show.
This podcast is my very favorite, I listen weekly and to past episodes also! They are so heartfelt and honest plus the research is fantastic! Thanks!
I am so glad to have found this pod. As a middle aged queer from Tennessee, I find Brad and Jordy’s voices so comforting and empowering. As terrible as these stories are it makes my heart full to hear them told so thoughtfully
I heard about this podcast on My Favorite Murder —and I am so happy I did! I am picky about about what podcasts I listen to—& they’re now added to my rotation. Their voices are soothing —which is comforting when they’re covering difficult stories. I love that they spotlight crimes on the LGBTQIA+ community…representation matters.

Two hosts explore true crime stories through a queer lens, combining rigorous research with empathetic storytelling. Episodes cover a wide range of cases—from hate violence against LGBTQ+ communities to historical queer figures and overlooked injustices—often weaving in social context, law enforcement dynamics, and activism. The show is noted for strong storytelling, clear perspectives on marginalized communities, and a balance of somber subject matter with accessible, drink-in-hand conversation. A notable strength is its consistent emphasis on representation, community resilience, and historical context that isn't always covered in mainstream crime coverage, making it a compelling pick for listeners interested in justice, history, and LGBT... more
