I just found this podcast and have listened to almost all of the episodes. I love Ash and Rachel’s dynamic and their funny yet informative and compassionate approach to nuanced conversations about psychology and medical ethics. I’m dying for more episodes, so please come back and make a second season!
In episode 1 you stated Freud and Jung had sexual relationships with their patients. This is documented for Jung (Sabina Spielrein, Toni Wolff) but no evidence for Freud - in fact his strict line on this issue caused rifts with his colleagues. There is suspicion that he had an affair with his sister-in-law, but no proof. Please research this and correct if invalid thank you
I listen to a lot of podcasts while working and this one is not only interesting, it transports you into the room feeling like your part of the conversation with two of your coolest friends. I can’t wait for a season two to see where they take it!
This is one of the most poorly researched and annoying podcasts I’ve heard on this topic. Such nonsensical and rambling mean girl talk. They have no firsthand experience of the people and coaches they disparage. Like they just searched the internet for bad reviews and stories and then “report” on them.
Amazing conversations about the missteps of mental health throughout history. Funny and heartwarming. The "conversion therapy" episode got me crying from hope... Lost of love for the "Uncle" <3 It's a "must listen"!
