I’ve seen so many podcasts about moms who have autistic children, but no one on their is autistic its just neurotypical. I’m glad that you’re making this podcast because you both ARE autistic! You understand! Yes! I’m neurodivergent. It’s terribly difficult to explain how I feel when I’m overstimulated. But I’m the only one who can explain that! Not some “autism mom”. Thank you!
This podcast is amazing and can be just enjoyable because it’s casual while informative and entertaining I love it
I am autistic and recently diagnosed. This podcast has helped me so much to understand myself and to deal with it well.
Having been recently diagnosed with autism in my early 30’s, listening to this podcast has felt like hanging out with my new friends Melissa and Sophie, hearing about our shared diagnosis, and getting to glean a little bit of wisdom from a couple of people who have known of their autism for much longer than I have.
Thank you so much for the great content. It’s certainly helpful <3
I’ve just started listening to your podcasts as I run some macros working from home. Just wanted to say thank you, I’m 40 and was only diagnosed 4 years ago, I laughed along with you, “working lunch”, yeah I don’t have lunch either. Loss of special interests means I’m going into a depression cycle, I didn’t realise. And you’re so right! I’m on episode 2, I’ll be listening to them again, as so much you’re saying are agreeable. It’s good to know other autistics go through the same issues.
