This is a really unique history podcast. Nicki Woodard does a fabulous job of taking us into the personal lives of individuals, and always keeping a solid historical context. I enjoy how Nicki shares and ties her own personal story to the lives of the “money burners". A definite keeper.
I really wanted to like this. The whole idea is intriguing but the podcaster’s voice and delivery just killed it. Please, slow down, enunciate clearly and don’t try so hard to make things dramatic. The story you’re telling should be able to do that for itself.
Interesting content overshadowed by a strange affected lilt and painful English - as well as French and German.
I feel this is a voice that is easy to listen to and most importantly has done research on these fascinating times in Hollywood History. I have only listened to one so far and I am hooked.
Thank You for sharing your creative voice of History.
