  • One of the best esoteric podcasts

I look forward to every episode and have learned so much from these conversations. Ike’s book A Formless Fire is also an excellent book laying out the history of the western esoteric tradition.

Ike’s work stands head and shoulders above a lot of the occult podcasters out there. He’s professional, the interviews are always informative, and the overall production of the podcast itself is quality.

Q: What role does Christianity play in your current spiritual framework and how do you reconcile it with esoteric practices?
He discusses Christianity as a historic backbone of Western civilization with substantial positive impact, but argues for a post-Christian evolution that preserves its core ethical insights while adapting to modern knowledge, avoiding dogmatic rigidity.
Lifting the Lamp, Darker Aspects of the Divine & the Book of Heavenly Voices w. Frater Eleftheria
Q: How do you view the connection (or lack thereof) between UAP phenomena and angelic contact in your work?
He explains encountering a potential overlap between UAP phenomena and angelic experiences through case studies and researchers, stressing that some researchers see a continuum or overlap, while maintaining a critical stance on interpretation and avoiding reductive conclusions.
Lifting the Lamp, Darker Aspects of the Divine & the Book of Heavenly Voices w. Frater Eleftheria
Q: So with angelic magic and Enochian practices, what are the main sources and texts that inform your practice?
Frater Eleftheria outlines the Holy Guardian Angel work via the Book of Abramelin and the Greek magical papyri, mentions Libesamic in Thalemic contexts, and emphasizes Enochian magic as central, paired with direct experiential practice and scrying.
The Spirit of Platonism, Living in the Beauty & Respecting the Dead Ideas of the Soul w. Danny Layne
Q: What do you hope to bring into public discourse through Platonic Mysticism and Khora?
They aim to awaken people to their power by demonstrating that meaningful education goes beyond self-interest and that platforms like Khora can foster honest disagreement and collective inquiry rather than mere sensationalism.
