  • Love this podcast.

I love this podcast. Always very insightful. I do also notice several guests seem to believe they know the “doomed” direction of the planet and speak on it with a level of certainly they don’t even seem to have when they speak on the subject of their expertise. I’m not doomed. You’re not doomed.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is Time Really Linear? with Julia Mossbridge
Q: What does 'causally ambiguous duration sorting' mean in practical terms?
It refers to how the experiment sorts photonic detections by duration and how the future duration choices seem to influence early-time measurements, suggesting that causality may not be strictly forward in time and that the photons' behavior may encode information about future durations.
Is Time Really Linear? with Julia Mossbridge
Q: Could you briefly explain the double-slit experiment and how your approach differs from the standard interpretation?
Mossbridge describes the classic double-slit set-up with single particles and emphasizes how, in some interpretations, interference could arise from interactions with past or future versions of the particle, not just from simultaneous particles; she then outlines an experiment designed to test whether future photon availability affects the present interference, a test of retrocausal ideas.
The Dodleston Messages with Paul Rogers
Q: What's your take on the significance of the Dodleston Messages?
The Dodleston Messages may suggest a form of communication across time, which could have profound implications for our understanding of consciousness and reality.
Thinking Above the Lower Mind with David Hanscom
Q: Do you find that you're less attached to outcomes, to people's responses to you?
I just enjoy my day and focus on awareness rather than on the reactions and approvals from others.
Thinking Above the Lower Mind with David Hanscom
Q: Well, what's your answer?
You have to turn down the heat on your thoughts and allow the mind to relax, which helps in resolving underlying issues like anxiety and chronic pain.
