  • Where evident truth and high strangeness meet

My touchstone and regular fix of philosophical, spiritual truths, very thought provoking. A quietly unique and relatable guide to remaining sane and objective in a world gone mad. Thank you Miguel for your wisdom, honesty and humour, your work is unique.

  • CASTANEDA was a fraud

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THE GODS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD, CARLOS CASTANEDA WAS A FRAUD. It still boggles my mind to hear people talking about Castaneda as some kind of truth seeker when the guy made it all up. HE MADE IT UP. DONT BE A DUMMY. Also, "the Covid hoax" was not a hoax, people died. Catch up guys. Science is also real and that doesn't mean god doesn't exist. The more i listen the more i realize the host is not very smart, actually. But the guests are great ....mostly

You Might Like: Göbekli Tepe (Real Life Sci-Fi)
Q: What makes Göbekli Tepe so significant in the discussion of early civilization?
It challenges the orthodox view by suggesting a highly sophisticated pre-farming culture with advanced astronomy and monumental construction, and may indicate a long-standing global awareness that predates established timelines.
Ed Dodge on A History of the Goddess: From the Ice Age to the Bible
Q: How does cannabis fit into the goddess narrative?
Dodge discusses cannabis as a sacred plant connected to goddess worship and ritual practice, noting its historical use in anointing and sacred rites and how its decline parallels the suppression of goddess traditions.
Ed Dodge on A History of the Goddess: From the Ice Age to the Bible
Q: What is Ed Dodge's thesis in A History of the Goddess?
Dodge argues that the God of the Bible had a feminine consort and that the move toward monotheism involved suppressing the Mother Goddess, leading to patriarchy and centralized religious authority.
Enid Baxter Ryce on The Language of Magic: Ancient Spells & Incantations
Q: Enid, do you have any deities or heroes that you like that inspire you, that serve as your muse?
Enid describes a mythic Irish goddess figure connected to winter and transformation, as well as the broader tradition of early Irish Christianity and its interaction with nature, highlighting reverence for mythic figures as sources of creative and scholarly inspiration.
Mike Fiorito on Music, Consciousness & Extraterrestrial Phenomena
Q: What are your thoughts about the slide from 432 Hz to 440 Hz and potential conspiracy aspects behind it?
The guest explains that 432 Hz is associated with meditation and that there are frequencies like 963 Hz (Sulfeggio) with different emotional impacts; 440 Hz is described as a standard that some conspiratorially links to disrupting natural resonance, but the guest also notes a lack of exhaustive knowledge and discusses how cultural contexts (like ragas and Indian tuning) shape perception of sound.
