Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bonus VIII: James Pozenel, author of Netcrawl TTRPG
Q: Question four, what game are you playing now?
I'm mainly running Netcrawl right now, with some sessions at TotalCon and other games like Shadow Dark and a DCC game to round out playtesting and exposure to different systems.
Bonus VIII: James Pozenel, author of Netcrawl TTRPG
Q: Question three, why do you create?
There's a compulsion to tell stories; the urge to create worlds and narratives has always been in me since childhood, and sharing those stories with others at the table is deeply fulfilling.
Bonus VIII: James Pozenel, author of Netcrawl TTRPG
Q: Question number two, what is your favorite game mechanic?
My favorite mechanic is the spell checks from DCC, using a table of results that maps a spell's power to success thresholds; I love how it can be repurposed to create varied effects, including programs for Netcrawl.
Bonus VIII: James Pozenel, author of Netcrawl TTRPG
Q: Question number one, if you were a polyhedral die, which die would you be?
I'd be a 12-sided die because it looks chunky and has a balance of reliability and variety; it hits corners hard and offers a satisfying curvature for a wide range of rolls.
Bonus Episode VII: Jayson Elliot of Solarian Games
Q: If you could pick to watch just one spy movie, which movie would it be?
It's going to be Three Days of the Condor, absolutely.
