I‘m so in love with this podcast. Since I discovered it (which was very recently, credit to Kim Chakanetsa, Host of ‚The Comb‘, another favourite podcast of mine), I’ve been binging the episodes. I am learning A LOT! And love the charisma of the team. I hope to be seeing new episodes soon 🙈. Thank you for your amazing work.
As a queer African, hearing these stories shared through this podcast has been nothing less of reassuring for me. The struggle we face is very nuanced and I absolutely love hearing about the different intersectional issues the LGBTQ+ community a part of the African Diaspora face. I highly recommend this podcast— it offers both context to our strife and bits of joy amongst our fight.
This podcast is excellent for anyone interested in LGBTQ issues on the African continent. The stories are so engaging and touch on some very pertinent issues facing queer and LGBT people in Africa and the world today. Would highly recommend!
I love this podcast. These are my people and they can easily be your people too: interesting stories from parts of the world from which you do not usually hear. And the podcast is so well produced too. Seriously. I wish there were more episodes but absence makes the heart grow fonder 🤎
This podcast is one of the most powerful and incredible podcasts I have ever listened to. As a queer POC South African, their episode Pride and Prejudice in Johannesburg was particularly significant to me. It was an eye-opening, informative and moving episode which I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. This podcast is so important and I believe that everyone can learn something from it.
