  • Real autistic adults with a balanced view

Love this podcast! Andrew and Eileen are the perfect yin and yang creating a balanced view on subject of being an autistic adult. I love that they only host guests who are also autistic adults and have conversations about the topics that really matter. It’s a great listen every week!

  • I loved it! Please make more. If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism. If you've heard more than one podcast about autism, they probably are starting to all sound the same. Not this one! Actual conversation! With real adults! Who just happen to have autism.

International Pet Day: How Service Dogs Transform Autistic Lives
Q: What should someone know if they're considering a service dog for autism today?
Research local service dog organizations, understand the pros and cons, consider the long-term financial and time commitments, and ensure the dog's training aligns with the individual's sensory needs and environment.
International Pet Day: How Service Dogs Transform Autistic Lives
Q: Can you explain the difference between a pet dog, a therapy dog, and a service dog?
Pet dogs are one-to-one companions without trained disability-related tasks; therapy dogs serve many people in settings like hospitals; service dogs are trained for specific disabilities and accompany their owner in public spaces.
Wable: An App for Meaningful Neurodivergent Relationships

Tanner emphasizes that not all autistic people want romantic relationships; some prioritize friendship or family connections, and that diversity in relationship needs should be respected.
Wable: An App for Meaningful Neurodivergent Relationships
Q: Can you tell our listeners a little bit more about Wable and what problem you were trying to solve when you came up with Wable?
The founders describe Wable as a three-way social network focused on love, friendship, and workplaces, aiming to connect neurodivergent individuals with communities that understand them, starting from a personal observation during the pandemic.
Dr. Morris: Championing Black Families in the Autism Community through Education and Awareness
Q: What gaps are you most focused on closing for Black autistic people right now?
Bridging awareness and access by ensuring equitable access to diagnoses, culturally competent care, transition support into adulthood, and economic pathways that honor autistic strengths, so individuals can pursue meaningful, quality work and build lasting legacies.
