  • Informative: Historical Local Info + Compassionately Revisited True Crime Stories

I was looking for true crime stories from my own state and I stumbled upon this podcast. I started with the Episode about Hancock, Maryland because I have lived in Maryland my whole life and I currently reside about 30 minutes East of Hancock in Hagerstown, Maryland. I had heard about the murder that was discussed so that made it even more interesting. I liked the conversational style and I enjoyed the historical, geographical and economic/ population information about the town and local points... more

  • It’s okay

I was hoping for more information on true crime. Instead it’s a lot of the host talking about his experiences with wherever it is. I’ll give it a try again later and see if the podcast becomes any better.

  • Light-hearted stories of history and crime

I enjoy getting to know the history of the communities in each episode. Jason and Shannon not only highlight an intriguing crime that has taken place in each town but give plenty of interesting facts about the area. They are also quick to point out that these crimes do not define the towns. I love how they pick the episodes, they throw a dart at a map and where it sticks that’s it.

  • Hilton Head episode

Horrible podcast. So much misinformation and no fact checking whatsoever. The rambling was painful and couldn’t finish the story. Don’t waste your time.
