  • Policing language

Brian says “we need to police ourselves and be good models of behavior” and a little over a minute later calls people monsters. I agree the behavior is abhorrent but you asked us to call you out so here ya go. A monster is not human and therefore by calling someone a monster you are dehumanizing them. I love the show but sometimes your emotions take over. We can all do better, and thanks for the reminder of that. :)

  • A show that provides hope

In a polarized world, these hosts show that we can take issues seriously, while not taking ourselves too seriously and that we can care about each other even if we want to flick the other person in the nose for their political beliefs. This is a great podcast to catch up on the week’s “gossip” and stay on top of things.
