  • Love the local

Love the quick local news. I don’t love the sign off—“stay safe” implies that we’re all in some sort of grave danger or something. We’re not. Go for something else.

  • Make sure and fact check, since MPR doesn’t.

For years they have provided a very clearly biased news but it used to at least be worth it to get basic topics. Now, they have gone full biased and hide important news topics for Minnesota and it’s a huge bummer. What a great resource going to waste. After them completely ignoring what’s going on in Minnesota for the last week, I’m saying goodbye after half a decade.

  • Inconsistent publishing times

I really appreciate this podcast and the local news it offers. I wish that it was published consistently in the morning so that I could listen to it. It often isn’t available when I want it. When it’s there, the reporting is great.

  • “Sure” “ya”

The young reporters start every answer to a question with “Sure” and “Ya”. Very annoying and distracting. They all need to work on this to sound professional.

Border Czar Tom Homan says mistakes were made in Minneapolis, mass deportations will continue
Q: You believe that the operation in Minneapolis was not perfect. Can you sit here today and acknowledge that mistakes were made and perhaps that the administration went too far?
The operation, when I got there, I reviewed the entire operation and made changes based on my experience and what I think was the best way to go forward; not everything was perfect, but adjustments were made to improve ongoing enforcement.
