  • Are you a victim?

If you are, npr will bend head over heels to share your story, never willing to examine the other side of such stories, narratives. It makes for easy reporting, news gathering, but leaves us all less informed at the end of the day

Changing with the times to help Minneapolis neighborhoods thrive
Q: Why does the organization invest in youth internships and how does funding support that?
Internships are about skill-building, dignity, and community pride. They offer hands-on learning across cinematography, urban agriculture, theater tech, and KRSM radio, with interns paid and mentored through partnerships with foundations and government sources.
Changing with the times to help Minneapolis neighborhoods thrive
Q: What do you see as the future of the theater as part of Pillsbury House?
Expansion is possible and desirable, but it requires resources. The theater has weathered economic storms by telling dynamic stories that connect people and foster healing, and there are upcoming productions like Nina and Simone to illustrate that impact.
Changing with the times to help Minneapolis neighborhoods thrive
Q: So describe what your job is. What does being head of advancement mean?
My scope is fundraising, public policy, and driving systems change work to ensure resources flow to programs that help neighbors. It also involves updating our fundraising strategy to reflect changing donor behavior and to sustain services.
The big takeaways from Tuesday's primary elections
Q: How did endorsements influence the races this year?
The guests note a sea change where endorsements were less predictive; the caucus and endorsement process felt insider-heavy, and the primary allowed broader participation, with some endorsed candidates losing and outsiders gaining momentum.
The big takeaways from Tuesday's primary elections
Q: What one takeaway should voters consider as they head into November?
Amy suggests focusing on the strength of the GOP's ability to win statewide by nominating electable candidates who can raise money, while Ryan emphasizes the Democratic surge and the need for unity behind effective candidates who can translate policy into practical changes.
