This is an excellent podcast. Well produced, well edited, great interviews. I’ve found out about a lot of my new favorite books from listening. I highly recommend it!
The production quality of the podcast is excellent and the hosts are hilarious. I appreciate that each episode has a variety of authors. The mini interviews are as fascinating as the main one. My only complaint is that it is monthly because I always want more. Well done.
If you love books and enjoy learning how the sausage is made, this is the podcast for you. Eric and Steve ask good questions, listen and put themselves out there.
A word of warning: Episodes are frustrating to listen to while driving. Why? Because the hosts (and guests) provide many, many suggestions about their favorite books (read: what books we may want to read) and you can't write them down fast enough.
I reviewed this one back when there was just two episodes. I loved it then and may love it even more now. I like the new shorter format, which just fits my commute from the deep woods of Arkansas to my university job in “town.” The guests are a great mix of the greats and the soon-to-be great in the crime writing world. Five stars are not enough.
Stoked that this podcast exists. Just listened to the episode with Naomi Hirahara, Kelsye Garrett, and Alex Segura and loved it! Subscribing now.
