  • Great host, Bad content

I have met Johnette and heard her speak in person. She is intelligent and insightful but she is losing me on this podcast because there is so much rambling about attending a conference (10 minutes!) and just no coherent thoughts on the topics at all. Passing on this one.

  • I love Johnette !

I love listening to Women of Grace. I’ve been listening for two years and I’ve learned so much through this program after my reversion to the Catholic Faith. I love the way the Holy Spirit speaks to Johnette and the manner in which she prays giving all praise, honor, and glory to God. I’m grateful that through her God is teaching me how to pray, how to listen for His voice, and how to be a discerning mother who is teaching her children to be in the world but not of the world. Thank you also t... more

  • Blessing

I always receive a blessing listening to her and she is very gifted . However, we are Catholics NOT Pentecostal so when she goes off on a fake Pentecostal rant or sing a Protestant song it’s rather nauseating. I just pray she sees the errors of her ways.

Worship Hymns
Q: What are the three categories of music in the Catholic tradition and how do they differ in use?
They are liturgical music for official rites like Mass and Divine Office; sacred music composed for worship with a sacred character used in devotions and concerts; and religious music inspired by the faith, which may not be suitable for liturgy.
A Mothers Love
Q: I just learned not too recently that 70 percent or thereabouts of Catholics do not believe in the true body and blood of Jesus when they go to communion. Why would they go to communion if they don't believe?
The host explains that survey numbers can be misleading due to who is surveyed and that many people may attend in a state of mortal sin, but emphasis is placed on understanding the Eucharist as the real presence, reinforced by the Church's teaching and practices such as perpetual adoration to cultivate reverence and proper belief.
The Value of Forgiveness
Q: What is the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation?
Forgiveness is an act of the will to stop punishing and bless the other person, whereas reconciliation is about restoring a relationship and may not always be possible or safe.
