  • Needs More Gulick

This is a great podcast, because where else can you get a heady mix history, Eurovision, costumes, Protestantism, Wimbleton and cats?

But they are wrong about Waterline v Lipstick and they need an episode about Moldova’s national contest, featuring the kind fever of Victor Gulick.

  • It isn't hard to find Eurovision podcasts if all you care about is this year's show but historical content is seriously thin on the ground. That's where Mark and Danny come in! I was looking for a primer before watching some old editions on YouTube and these guys are brilliant at sketching the story of each year in a fun way. They're really good company even if you aren't a Eurovision fanatic, absolutely invaluable if you are.

  • One of the most varied esc podcasts I’ve ever watched

Came across your guys podcast via a suggestion on Facebook and I don’t regret tapping on it!

Refreshing to see a podcast that overviews every era of Eurovision as well as the current affairs of that year, both of my favourite subjects, world affairs and the affairs of Eurovision.

Just a little side note, just watched the 89 and 90 episodes and as a huge riva fan, (I was the one who added the part about the hiatus and the planned album as the Balkan public know but not many outside know so I t... more

  • Two great Eurovision fans

Dani and Mark are such a great couple and their chemistry really makes the podcast work. They’re obviously big fans so their attention to detail is excellent. This podcast is a walk down memory lane. I don’t like comparing to other podcasts but I love that they play the songs unlike other podcasts that sometimes don’t even mention the artists or their names when discussing Eurovision years past. Thanks guys
