I get furious every time I hear about this attack on our ship the USS Liberty. with the loss of life and the cover up by our government. It’s bull crap.
Media covering warfare tends towards two extremes: Jingoist bullshit on the one hand, hand-wringing 'war is hell' moralism on the other. Virtue finds and chooses the mean. War Stories is a well researched, well written, and decently delivered take on the subject with a focus on the humanity of it all, while still following the thread of an important concept which forms the theme for a given season.
The episodes are bite sized half hour deals, perfect for a commute. A++ would recommend.

Decent podcast but they selected very distracting background music and it’s way too loud and at times is almost as loud as the talking. I just gave up after 3 episodes.
