  • Excellent introduction to the field!

As a veteran ELA teacher tasked mid-career with an interdisciplinary history prep, this podcast has been indispensable to me for understanding the lay of the SS field in just a few weeks of listening to episodes that piqued my interest. I now have language for all the weird pet struggles of secondary history teachers that have just never made sense to me as someone with a lit/ELA background. Document sets, inquiry, the history of textbooks, debates within the field about the purposes of SS educa... more

  • Visions of Education Podcast Review

HIGHLY recommend listening to this podcast whether you are a part of a school or not. It is extremely helpful and informative. I am a preservice teacher, I’ve listened to a handful of these podcasts for my classes, but I can definitely see myself referring back to them and listening to more after I become a teacher.
