recently came upon this podcast because i was assigned one of the episodes to listen to for one of my classes. i think there is a lot of great things to listen to and learn about here. as a future teacher, i want to expand my knowledge and understanding about all things teaching. there is so much to learn and think about and this podcast does a really good job introducing and analyzing topics. i’ll definitely be keeping myself busy with the rest of these episodes!!
As a veteran ELA teacher tasked mid-career with an interdisciplinary history prep, this podcast has been indispensable to me for understanding the lay of the SS field in just a few weeks of listening to episodes that piqued my interest. We listened to this podcast throughout the course of this semester for our social studies class and wow. It is helpful, resourceful, inspiring, passionate, and packed with information that if you are future educator you won’t want to miss!
Michael, Dan and the guests always do a great job introducing and discussing the topics in a way that makes them easy to understand and engage with.
I really like the casual banter and discussion throughout the episodes. It really makes listening feel like I’m just sitting in a room with friends, having interesting conversations.
Keep up the great work!!
HIGHLY recommend listening to this podcast whether you are a part of a school or not. It is extremely helpful and informative. I am a preservice teacher, I’ve listened to a handful of these podcasts for my classes, but I can definitely see myself referring back to them and listening to more after I become a teacher.
