  • Imperial left

Been a listener for some time now and I can’t believe the length this show goes to soft paddle imperial propaganda. It sure is easy to singsong western style democracy (even though the famous 2014 study showed that in the U.S. ordinary ppl practically have 0 influence on policy) and condemn “authoritarian states” when you don’t have to face the wrath of a nuclear power that sanctions, coups, invades, and bombs with no impunity.

  • Disappointed in new Venezuela coverage

I usually like The Dig, and liked the episode on Vz from a few years ago, but the new ep is very disappointing. Constantly referencing stolen elections and authoritarianism with no pushback and no nuance. Especially given recent events it is really disappointing to see how anti-Maduro and anti-PSUV this episode was. I hope we can get an ep in the future that takes a more balanced approach to this

  • Get to the point!

Daniel’s interview questions are often unbearably long. I ran out of patience after a few episodes. He just goes on and on and on with multiple layers of questions and context before letting the interviewee speak. Several hundreds words at least!
