Hands down my favorite podcast and the single best political education resource I’ve encountered, I learn more from Dan Denvir and his exceptional guests with every episode. Cannot recommend highly enough to serious organizers looking to understand the present in order to develop winning strategies to change the world
This has been an incredibly helpful resource to learn more deeply from other people of conscience organizing for a better world. Equally important: always a deeply enjoyable listen to share with your loved ones. My husband and I always leave buzzing with more to talk about.
Who else is going to bring you 2 hours surveying Indonesian labor and political history?
Been a listener for some time now and I can’t believe the length this show goes to soft paddle imperial propaganda. It sure is easy to singsong western style democracy (even though the famous 2014 study showed that in the U.S. ordinary ppl practically have 0 influence on policy) and condemn “authoritarian states” when you don’t have to face the wrath of a nuclear power that sanctions, coups, invades, and bombs with no impunity.

I usually like The Dig, and liked the episode on Vz from a few years ago, but the new ep is very disappointing. Constantly referencing stolen elections and authoritarianism with no pushback and no nuance. Especially given recent events it is really disappointing to see how anti-Maduro and anti-PSUV this episode was. I hope we can get an ep in the future that takes a more balanced approach to this

A rigorous left-leaning interview show focused on building power, organizing, and critiquing capitalism and imperialism. Episodes frequently feature insurgent political candidates, labor organizers, and scholars who unpack strategies for mass organizing, tenant rights, anti-war activism, and democratic socialist policy. Notable is the emphasis on inside-outside organizing, long-form conversations, and historical context that informs contemporary political action, often with a global perspective on anti-imperialism and labor struggles. Listeners are likely engaged in activism or policy work and value depth, evidence, and practical tactics over soundbite-style debates.
