Interesting and thought provoking podcast with excellent research by the host. Highly recommend, even though new episodes are Patreon only, the back catalogue is well worth listening to and joining the Patreon is money well spent for new episodes.
Very well researched, but lots of extreme right (and white) winged tangents and dog whistles bordering on hate speech. It’s an odd contrast, presenting a podcast about travel and culture while also coming across as so ignorant, hateful and closed minded. Articulates contempt for women in almost every episode. It’s weird and sad. I do hope she finds happiness. It’s harder to enjoy the pod with all that.
I’ve only recently started listening to unknown passage podcast. I really enjoy the investigative side and your presentation of this podcast. I find your style to be very engaging and also you do have a lot of funny one liners. I also enjoy your honesty and your passion for this subject. Keep up the good work and I know I will become a patron soon. As I’ve only just started and I know at episode 169 it’s patron only so I’ll definitely be joining the community soon.
Felicity is a true storyteller. Her insights are the least annoying of all podcasters. She’s concise and spot on, always. Her research is excellent and she references all of her sources. It’s refreshing to listen to an intelligent podcaster who doesn’t make you sick after a couple of hours.
If you're trying to advocate for victims and their families by telling their stories then leave your hateful political opinions out of it. It's insanely exploitative and hypocritical.

Unknown Passage shares in-depth investigations into travelers who disappear or are murdered abroad, blending meticulous research with a storytelling approach. Episodes often explore case details, safety lessons for travelers, and the human impact on families, while newer content emphasizes community features and patron-only extras. A notable pattern is the host's ability to weave global cases with personal narratives, though some listeners critique the show's monetization model and occasional political commentary as distractions from the core storytelling.
Overall, this show stands out for its globe-spanning cases, careful sourcing, and emphasis on the travel dimension of crime. It may appeal to listeners who enjoy long-form, thoughtful tr... more
