I love the banter both between Hannah and Celia, as well as the engaging interviews they conduct with their guests (and I enjoyed being a guest myself!) This podcast is a great resource for those of us in mid-life and beyond who are going through a “plot twist.”
I’ve listened to every episode, some twice. Whether I thought the topic was pertinent to me or not when I read the brief, I found something for me in each. I always finding myself laughing out loud, sometimes I cry, I gain insight into myself and into other people. Perhaps it is the insight into other people that Hannah, Cecilia and their guests reveal is what draws me to Twisting the Plot podcast more than any other.
What an amazing podcast. I did some research and recommended this to an aunt of mine a few months back and she has thanked me on multiple occasions for sending it to her. Just sent it over to my mom who is nearing the age of 50 as well and am hoping for her to receive the goodness and love that Hannah and Cecilia are providing for their audience!
Cecilia and Hannah radiate joy, compassion and insight... I tune in regularly to listen to their wonderful selection of guests.
This podcast is like being in the car on a road trip with best friends. You’re laughing out loud and at the end you realize you’ve realized something new about yourself, left a little more inspired, and feel a little lighter. Cecilia and Hannah’s banter is so fun to listen to and their perspectives are invaluable. Can’t recommend enough!!

Love this podcast so much.
Just love how Hannah and Ceil approach such a huge array of topics that affect us “old ladies” in such an engaging and joyous way. There are some tough topics in our lives as 50+ women that we don’t want to digest or analyze cause they are just too hard to think about- ughhh. Hannah and Ceil make us look at ourselves and learn to be more honest and educated in dealing with our own issues. And it’s not a lecture, it’s a fun way to talk about tough stuff.
An incredibly engaging and inspiring podcast. Can’t recommend it enough.
Thus podcast has interesting guest interviews - always fun and informative. Inspiring women 50+. Part of my daily podcast listening on my way to work.
Really grateful for this podcast. So clever, so reassuring, and plenty of humor. Highly recommend!
It is fun to listen to a conversation that so resembles my own ongoing internal conversation. As a therapist myself, I too hear many stories of women in huge transitions around this age. They all feel so alone. My plan is to send them all a link. Thank you for your humor, wisdom, and for getting it!
Anyone will enjoy Twisting the Plot regardless of age or gender. Each episode is like a free therapy session by two insightful professionals. With humor and compassion Hannah and Ceil help guide you through life’s challenges. Fun, real and inspiring!
