Just finished the latest episode and have been greatly enjoying Roberto and Brendan’s journey through the Russian rulers. Their discussions are equal parts hilarious and informative, and I’ve learned so much thus far. Can’t wait to learn about the rulers that are ahead - keep up the great work!
So excited to learn more about the times before the Romanovs!
Only a few rulers in at the time of the review but this topic needed to be covered. Roberto is passionate and seems to genuinely love the subject. Brenden plays the stoic, to bring the show to reality when then sources sometimes want you to believe otherwise. Cant wait to see how the show evolves!
This is the RexyPod I have been waiting for and I am beyond excited that I can finally listen and learn about the Russian Rulers. The hosts have a great synergy, and I love hearing the role reversals of Brendan as the serious one and Roberto being the joking one in regards to the story telling. Those chronicle antics are fantastic. Go Olga for the best Ruler!!
Great podcast about a relatively un talked about topic, the hosts are easy to listen to.
However, Brendan started to get on my nerves with how much he interrupted with meandering, relatively unimportant info, really messed up the flow of the podcast and made my eyes roll.

Tsar Power is a history-focused discussion and ranking show centered on Russian rulers from early dynastic leaders through contemporary figures. Hosts Roberto and Aurora trade off biography-driven storytelling with lively banter, ranking rulers by influence, and weaving in modern parallels and pop-culture humor. Episodes often mix deep historical context with humorous segments, listener engagement, and cross-podcast collaborations, making the series approachable for history buffs and newcomers alike. A standout aspect is the dynamic host duo and their willingness to riff on sources, rivalries, and the personalities behind historical events, which gives the show a distinctive, entertainment-forward angle on a dense topic.
