OJ's dead y'all. The Juice done spoiled. Enjoy these two classic TCMC episodes and pour one out for the Hertz Man. New episodes coming soon!
Hey everyone! Here's a Halloween two-fer! This is a brand-new sister show in the TCMC Universe hosted by Micheal and Jesse! Join them as they journey into the unknown, interviewing eyewitnesses to the paranormal, unsettling, and unexplained. In this ... more
Hey everyone - sorry this took so long to put out. This was supposed to be released back in October before we left on the Mothman movie shoot, but a lot has happened since then that has led to a lot of complications in getting episodes out on time. W... more
Hoo boy, this one's a twofer - more bullshit from Geno McGahee and more fake Amityville.
The List family have been murdered on film no less than four times. This is one of those times.
Not even Crispin Glover can save this dime-store exploitation-wannabe "slasher" film supposedly based on "true events" in this week's episode of TRUE CRIME MOVIE CLUB!
While the bulk of the TCMC/1289 crew is on hiatus for a number of reasons, Micheal and Jesse bring you something special - their recent radio audition for a new show idea called "Into The Unknown"!
This movie could not hold our attention, so we ended up talking about other dumb shit for half of the episode - enjoy!
Binged most all the episodes, I’d like to suggest the film Mope fir a possible episode in the future. It’s a great true crime story, I’m curious what you guys think if the movie
Discovered this through Unresolved and thought Jesse was interesting and hilarious. Really enjoyed listening to the guys rip apart terrible true crime schlock. Would love to hear them review In the Line of Duty: The FBI Murders—if only to hear Jeff’s take on a favorite from my childhood (featuring Burt Gummer himself in a truly disturbing turn). The Town that Dreaded Sundown. Wolf Creek. The Ryan Reynolds Amityville remake. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The 1968 Boston Strangler. Keep... more
Discovered through Michael Whelan’s Unresolved Podcast, TCMC is lively discussion of those terrible movies and TV docudramas all true crime fans are forced to endure. Each host brings something unique and different to the table. Disorganized in a relaxed “just friends hanging out” kind of way, it breaks down these cinematically less than brilliant endeavors in an easy and amusing format. Bonus points and a Patreon pledge for calling out Mike Boudet for the piece of garbage he is. Keep ‘em coming... more
A really fun podcast that feels like a true crime take on "How Did This Get Made?" Really fun, and I love getting to hear the hosts' descent into insanity with each passing flick.
This is such a fun show and if you’re into true crime & movies that are so bad theyre good you should definitely check it out
I get real enjoyment listening to this podcast and can’t wait to re-listen to them after I watch the movies myself.
Thanks fellas!
I love Podcast 1289, so I was happy to see True Crime Movie Club, which features most of the same cast of characters. My favorite episodes are on the Amityville case, but all of the podcasts are a mixture of hilarious commentary and serious movie reviews. I always look forward to the newest episode.
Love this show. always keeps me interested and always look forward to new episodes
