  • Premiere / test episode

Sure, the world can always use another forecast!

Seriously though, having an adjunct program to explore topics that don’t fit into the regular program ~ or just a deeper-dive into an

Issue ~ is a good approach.

I hope that this works out for you guys!

  • Die hard Kevin Lee fan. Dump the AI intros/ outros.

Die hard Trackside fan here - listened for 3+ years weekly. I listen for Kevin Lee’s unique insights. However, I am not a fan of the AI intros - totally goes against the spirit of listening to media created by humans for humans - and racing is, at the end of the day, about the human factor. My two cents, contact a local high school multimedia class and challenge them to create something without an AI tool. Willing to bet they could come up with something better than the creepy robot woman used c... more

TRACKSIDE IndyCar Extra with Kevin Lee #5
Q: What are the main differences between a road course and oval IndyCar setup beyond camber and wings?
Differences include gearing, aero balance, and chassis setup that affect handling characteristics; teams may adjust body fit and gear ratios to optimize for the track layout, and experts emphasize consulting an engineer for deeper explanations.
TRACKSIDE IndyCar Extra with Kevin Lee #5
Q: Why does someone running mid-pack and in dirty air still turn the fastest lap during practice?
Because the optimal position is just behind another car to gain tow and drafting benefits, with a carefully measured gap that allows a quick lap without fighting for space, which is why the fastest laps often come from those who optimize their line behind one or two cars.
April 16th, 2026 - Trackside IndyCar Extra #3
Q: What are the main challenges at Long Beach with hand controls, especially in the hairpin and tight sections?
The hairpin is the most complicated due to the combined left-right hand movements and brake control, requiring nuanced grip adjustments and coordination between hands to manage braking and steering.
April 16th, 2026 - Trackside IndyCar Extra #3
Q: Is there anything keeping you from doing the full season beyond finding partners and funding?
Funding remains the primary constraint; once the finances align, the plan is to pursue full-season availability across endurance and sprint events.
