Really liked this podcast at the start it was so interesting and easy to listen too. But it’s gone down hill with harder to hear jumbled words and in jokes with other hikers.
I’m invested because I enjoy listening to his journey, highs and lows. His monologues are always interesting and I have enjoyed listening to how he has evolved over the months with his emotions, happiness in life etc. more
As an avid hiker I was so excited for this. But each 13 min episode isn't worth the time spent listening, even that exceedingly short time. It has no point, no direction, it should be a diary in someone attic.
Despite my better judgement, I can’t stop listening and dreaming of days on the Trail. Cody is corny, granted, but his folks are adorable, his “trafamily” is endearing, and actually his tales are teaching me, linking me to a new mindset and a potential new future. I’m enjoying!
It seems like a personal audio diary of a hiking trip in which nothing interesting happens but was nevertheless made into a publicly broadcast podcast. There was never a reason or tug for me to care about this.
