Lately most stories too lengthy and full of insignificant details just to extend their call to hear themselves on pod longer....Fix that Jim.
Plus any "no, I was just gonna say", or "that's the thing" from Jim or simply a 'ohhh' interrupts caller, caller looses train of thought then struggles to resume.... most annoying and happens nearly every call....turn off your mic Jim and allow the caller their uninterrupted train of thought, unless they are getting on with bullshit of course!
Half these “stories” are so far fetched. Lotta “ums” and fabricated connections based off sad eyes and memories of loved ones.
Love these ghost stories. Well done!
Host does a good job, except he tends to interrupt the guests quite a bit, and that hurts the flow of the story. I’ve noticed that sometimes his comments are about himself specifically. It must be difficult to have a show for so long and try to continually find good content. Not everyone is gifted at pulling the audience into their story, and holding their interest. But, keep plugging along. But, please stop with the awkward interruptions.
Love Jim, the guests and the format. It’s soothing, almost asmr-ish. Jim is insightful, warm and clever. A gracious host who makes every guest shine. Stay Spooky! 👻
