Super interesting overview
This is my third review, just to articulate my continued appreciation for Coach Frontier’s work. The TBTF podcast continues to be the gold standard illuminating our sport. I look forward to every episode, listen to them all, and learn something from every one. It’s enjoyable and informative. Please keep them coming!
Nice interview! I’m a fan of the weight events having last thrown 35 years ago. I’m a big fan of Chase and believe she will exceed 22 before she is done. I also like that she pointed out the move to rotational technique and its present and future impact with impressive young throwers coming up. Well done!
I was a junior college athlete throwing shot and discus in 1972. Al came to the West Coast Relays in Fresno and I was fortunate enough to get onto the field close to the throwing ring. I used a Super * move camera and filmed all of his throws. Seeing a smaller thrower (shorter than most) but with such amazing strength and quickness was amazing. That night Al threw 69-2. As I recall he was friendly and talked easily with the other athletes. Loved following him. Super thrower.
This is my second review, affirming my appreciation of this wonderful podcast. Coach Frontier continues to explore new facets of the throws and expertly interview a wide array of fascinating guests, making this my one must-listen-to podcast.
