I think ESPN did any excellent job highlighting Miami Dade County Police Departments mishandling of this case. But I do feel that ESPN pushed the narrative of it being Rashawn Jones and prosecutors felt the pressure from the world now seeing the mishandling and the family pushing as well. So while yall are patting your selves of the backs for feeling like you moved a case forward the evidence that exists is really weak. You suing Dade County seems like it forced them to arrest a suspect. But he’s not a good suspect. He’s just relatively better than perhaps the next best one. Unfortunately he will probably get convicted just cause he’s accused and they I will listen to the next podcast about the question to exonerate him.
