  • I look forward to every new episode!

Such a good podcast. Ever since I was diagnosed with BD, I felt in my bones that this was something much deeper than just having to take a pill to correct. Very empowering podcast where you can finally feel that the solution is in your own hands and not in some doctor. Such interesting guests and I absolutely adore the wholistic take on this "disorder"(things not being in order). How true. Thank you Michelle🙏

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP 81: Dissociation, Trauma, and Real Healing: Eddie Shin, LMFT on Neurofeedback & Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Q: Do you work with people to help them understand that therapy can be proactive and healing is possible, or do most come ready to do the work?
Most people come by choice, seeking healing and a plan, and even teenagers whose parents push them to start therapy often engage when a connection is built and a clear path forward is shown.
EP 85: Gaslighting Teaches You to Distrust Your Mind—Here’s How to Take It Back with Lisa Sitze
Q: How did you approach healing and changing your habits after recognizing these patterns?
Healing required both addressing trauma and changing long-standing habits; I learned to give myself grace, seek boundaries, and implement RAD to take concrete steps toward healthier behavior and mindset.
EP 85: Gaslighting Teaches You to Distrust Your Mind—Here’s How to Take It Back with Lisa Sitze
Q: What kinds of symptoms did you experience growing up with this dynamic?
There was constant anxiety, dissonance between wanting connection and fearing harm, and a long process of separating my own perception from the distorted reality I was taught, which eventually informed my healing journey.
EP 85: Gaslighting Teaches You to Distrust Your Mind—Here’s How to Take It Back with Lisa Sitze
Q: What led you to write the book in the first place?
I wanted to clarify what narcissism truly is beyond buzzwords, to distinguish narcissistic tendencies from narcissistic personality disorder, and to give readers a framework for understanding their own experiences and healing.
EP 76: From Diagnosis to Self-Awareness: How Yoga Supports Bipolar Recovery with Dr. Ghada Osman
Q: How can Yoga help with emotional regulation?
Yoga helps individuals build awareness of their emotions and establish a connection with their bodies, providing tools for handling emotional states without judgment.
