As a mum of two boys, thinking about the wellbeing if my children occupies much of my thinking time. This episode has given some really helpful tips that we can actually use, and I found Megan really relatable. Different to my usual podcast listening (usually true crime or comedy) but worth every precious listening minute!
Understanding Boys is relevant, engaging, moving and helpful. Thanks Ray, an amazing resource for a parent trying to do a good job!
As a father of three boys the podcasts are all engaging yet different but well worthwhile- well done Dr Ray Swann!
This one’s a bit of a hidden gem, there’s some good stuff, with a range of people sincerely talking about parenting sons in a time where boyhood can be much maligned. It’s conversations between mums and dads, but there’s some meaty stuff too: Judy Chu, Michael Reichert, Robert Blum, Arne Rubinstein, and Megan De Beyer are my picks as experts with plenty of food for thought. Keep up the good work.
The understanding boys series really have taught my family a great deal about dealing with teenage boys. It happened just on time for our 13 old son. Not only this, we started to research about teenage girls for our daughter. The gender difference is huge, and interesting. Thanks Dr Sawn for such wonderful series. more
