I'm hooked on the podcast. I listen every night with my one-year-old as I put her down for the night.
One particular anecdote struck me and pushed me into a good ol' fashioned ugly cry. The dad who wrote on his son's bathroom mirror, “I am really proud to be your dad. Love, dad" and the ensuing reaction from his son.
It genuinely made me feel something and, although I tell my girls how I feel all the time, I gave them an extra tight hug.
Season two is off to a roaring start, too! Keep up t... more
I was a loyal listener and reader of your books, but you’ve lost me after putting on Brad. Some due diligence should have been done.
Disappointed that you would choose to feature Brad Kearns. There is a public video that he posted to his socials where he and his wife threaten a business owner and the language they use is disgusting. Also profiting off their children on social media? Just gross.
Usually love this pod but missed the mark with the latest Guest. Brad Kearns and his wife have made a living exploiting their kids online so it’s a bit rich talking about putting your phone down. Also has harassed and threatened female small business owners in the past, using the ‘bad language’ he apparently doesn’t use. Google it, you’ll find all the receipts. Disingenuous and disappointed Maggie didn’t do her research with this one.
Maggie thank you for your love of dads. So often we get a tough time in the media but there are some amazing dads out there doing the best they can with the skills and knowledge they have. Your passion and realness comes through and you are so authentic. Lots of love Gordo
