Terrific topics. Careful considerations. Varied views. (Well worth everyone’s attention.)
Each episode is a panel of three people discussing various aspects of Tolkien’s writing and life or the adaptations of his work. The panel members range from published scholars to fans who have dug into various aspects in order to understand better or enjoy more his works. I haven’t found a single episode that hasn’t made me laugh uproariously, shed a tear or feel amazement at a new revelation or deeper understanding of my favorite author. I heartily recommend The Texas Tolkien Talk Podcast.

I just finished listening to episode 12. What a great discussion of the different audio recordings of Tolkien’s work! I love how each episode has a different personality because the guests are always changing. There’s something for Tolkien fans of all different levels to learn and enjoy in each episode.
