  • Little Bits of Fascination

Currently catching up around Week 37 and I have to say I’ve been really enjoying this. I’m fairly steeped in Tolkien lore yet there have constantly been episodes on bits I was either unfamiliar with or completely unaware of. For example, the tale of Aldarion and Erendis comes up in the vaguest hints throughout other writing but here in this podcast, the full story is told. Lot of fun to listen to!

  • For the Love of All that is Good—Less Ads Please

I really like Alan’s content—he is interesting, funny, and makes me love Tolkien more. But my goodness, there are way too many ads in this podcast. Sometimes up to half of each episode is ads. And it’s not like they are good or relevant ads either. If they were products or brands that Alan picked and curated, I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with them, but they are so obnoxious and have absolutely nothing to do with the content of the podcast. I honestly haven’t listened to this podcast for ... more

  • Bite-sized fun facts perfect for daily listening

Absolutely love the TTT! It’s a perfect complement to the PPP, with the same incredible readings and information, but in smaller pieces, making it good to listen to during shorter intervals. Best daily dose of Tolkien-related fun facts I could wish for!
