I’ve separately liked Malcolm and Ricky’s work. An unusual business show that welcomes other perspectives. Also entertaining. No question it’s my favorite business show right now.
This Time Is Different stands out in a crowded field. The hosts dig into market and behavioral dynamics with clarity and curiosity, and they avoid the recycled takes you hear everywhere else. It is polished, thought provoking, and genuinely insightful. If you want a show that helps you understand why the world works the way it does, this is a great pick.

Two seasoned hosts dissect markets, money, and the economy with a contrarian lens. Episodes blend sharp financial analysis, tech-forward thinking, and candid debates about risk, policy, and corporate strategy. Listeners can expect long-form conversations that challenge mainstream narratives, feature guests or expert input, and move fluidly between macro themes, individual stock stories, and real-world implications for investors and workers alike. Noteworthy is the show's habit of mixing rigorous numbers with bold opinions and a popular knack for turning complex topics into accessible debates about valuation, governance, and the future of tech-enabled business models.
