  • The Evolving Landscape around Cryptocurrency

The content is substantive and I want to like this, but it is so hard to listen to because Steve just talked over and interrupted the guest repeatedly. I don’t know how the guests don’t just leave or quit talking. Please please don’t take pride in being rude or interrupting people and give your guests the opportunity to actually answer your questions.

  • What I liked most is host has personal, professional deep knowledge and shares this journey of continuing learning with the public through this podcast. Being able to learn about new topics while the host can put into words better than I, thoughtful questions, and driving discussions thoughtfully. . We also get to hear his insights periodically, from learned experience, at times which is wonderful. 5 stars.

Presumably an intelligent individual who speaks like a completely brain dead fool. I just don’t get the appeal I can’t even listen to him I don’t care if he’s right or wrong. I do not care what he has to say it’s just intolerable

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Private Credit Reckoning is Coming: Executives Are Mistaking Luck For Genius | The Weekly Wrap
Q: Why are there two types of private credit funds and how do they differ in terms of leverage and liquidity?
Public BDCs face SEC reporting and leverage limits (up to 2:1) and must distribute 90% of income, while non-public private credit funds avoid these restraints, allowing higher leverage and less liquidity, which changes investors' risk profiles.
The Private Credit Reckoning is Coming: Executives Are Mistaking Luck For Genius | The Weekly Wrap
Q: Is GameStop, at around $22, a value stock in this environment?
No clear case for value is compelling given the private credit context; fundamentals show a declining core business, though management did raise capital during the surge, so it remains a contested stock depending on future strategic moves.
Inside the Iran War with Steven Cook: What’s REALLY Happening? | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 52
Q: What should be the realistic objectives for the US and its allies moving forward?
Focus on verifiable constraints on Iran's nuclear program and restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, while avoiding an outright regime change that could backfire and unify domestic support for the regime.
Inside the Iran War with Steven Cook: What’s REALLY Happening? | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 52
Q: How do you think the war is going at this point?
It's very hard to tell, with information streams overloaded and misinformation; on the ground, tactical gains by the US and Israel are noted, but the overall trajectory depends on whether talks or ongoing aggression shape the future, making it fragile and uncertain.
Is Private Credit the Next Systemic Crisis? Steve Liesman Weighs In | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 53
Q: Where do you think the Fed stands given the oil shock and inflation dynamics?
The host and Liesman discuss that the Fed seems to be grappling with keeping inflation expectations anchored, with a debate between cutting and holding, and that credibility over the 2% target is contingent on how oil-induced inflation expectations evolve.
