This podcast is many things. I have listened to over 50 episodes. There is humor. There is raw emotion. There is conviction.

We’ve been going to the Tabernacle (Buckley) since April 2019. Shortly after we moved here. We serve and love our church. I drive for a local propane company and these podcasts are awesome to listen to while cruising around. I have listened to every podcast available until more are released after winter break. I look forward to hearing more. I may start listening to older sermons. I see they go back pretty far on here. Someone told me about the Elephant series so I may start there for now. Thank... more
Real conversations of changed lives and people talking about why they believe what they believe

John and Britten have an easy rapport and vulnerability that draws listeners into the conversati... more

Listeners can expect candid, faith-forward conversations rooted in real-life stories. Episodes frequently weave personal life journeys—marriage, parenting, trauma, recovery, leadership, and community building—into practical theology and actionable faith steps. The show shines in its emphasis on authenticity, relational faith, and everyday ministry, often featuring guest voices from church leadership, recovery communities, military service, and outdoor/collegiate ministry. A notable strength is the blend of vulnerable storytelling with concrete guidance for living out faith in families, small groups, and local church life.
