I found the Roll High or Die group’s podcast when searching for some actual plays of first edition Star Wars d6. I needed to hear how people actually played the game before running my own session for some friends. Turned out, it has been one of my favorite Star Wars AP podcasts for any system. The group is great and the campaign is fun. (I continually feel bad for Steven/Cade’s desire to be unequivocally good in a world that often fudges those lines of morality.) The characters are fun, not boring and normally make me laugh. I have enjoyed this actual play a lot. I find all the characters fun. I feel bad for Kade as he always has to stop the group from almost evil acts. The Count cracks me up with his "Just walk away" attitude. The GM does an excellen job. I noticed a player did not come back in season 2, I think he was the Captain. He didn't seem to play an important part and mostly hung out in the background complaining about his ship that wasn't there... more

I am enjoying this and never realized you can make an all these interesting things come out of just an academy. I like the backstory of each character and they are really interesting, well all except one. The one playing the Captain, who seems to have disappeared in the new season, thank goodness. He was annoying and seemed self absorbed. But everyone else, BRAVO!
