I always enjoy listening to the different perspectives and opinions in this podcast, and love the discussion and reaction to a given film, its score, and how the two work together, both without spoilers and with. The format works very well, and the respect for all opinions makes this a very welcoming world to listen in.

A little snobby for their coverage of the scores but overall some good discussions
It’s little bit helpful to know about new film score trends through this podcast series as a composer, but I wish they talk about music itself more with some knowledgeable musician and musicologist hosts. It seems they are just journalists or gossipers. It was hard to listen their talking so long, so I had to scroll aside until I find something interesting story and music comes up. I've tried hard to enjoy this podcast - I really have! I can hear the presenters discuss film music with passion and obviously they have invested a significant amount of time in coming to know this music, but the insights concerning the music are few and far between. Too often the episodes discuss which tracks are 'awesome' and which are not - I'd like to hear about how the composers construct the music, develop themes, communicate the subtext of the film and use the forces at their disposal. ... more
