  • I used to listen.

I did love your show, until I heard the ad extolling the virtues of the DHS’s illegal deportation program. Do better.

  • Makes me want to make music again

I made electro music using GarageBand in my 20’s but quit because I wasn’t a “real musician” playing a “real instrument.” Had I heard the episode about Parliament Funkadelic back then, the trajectory of my music making may have been totally different. I didn’t know George Clinton didn’t play an instrument and yet was full of music. This podcast is seriously the best, I can’t recommend it enough. It will make you fall in love with songs and music making.

  • Musical history deep dive

This is my favourite music podcast. I love how they focus on one song but also deep dive into the history of the band and the album on which the one song appeared. A great way to learn about musical history. They feature a wide array of musical genres and artists. The hosts have great chemistry!
