This show is really cool. I love hearing the stems and then going back to listen to the song again. I would love to hear an episode featuring a Tom Petty song. Please please please!
So now you’re partnering with Spotify, whose CEO is using subscriber money to fund weapons of war? What are you guys thinking? People have been leaving Spotify over this, and you choose to partner? Love the podcast, but this is *incredibly* disappointing, says a lot about who you are as people, I am forced to unsubscribe and leave One Song behind. Sucks a lot.
This show is just a good hang. I love their camaraderie and their insights. Even when the episode is about a song I don’t really know, I still want to give it a listen just for Diallo and LUXXURY’s banter.
I just found this podcast and listened to the Helter Skelter episode. Five stars and will be recommending it to others!

Two hosts dissect iconic pop songs through expert-level musical analysis, production breakdowns, and rich cultural context. Each episode focuses on a single track, tracing samples, interpolations, recording anecdotes, and the broader era's influence, often weaving in guest perspectives from artists and industry insiders. The conversation blends technical listening with storytelling, offering listeners a mix of nerdy musicology, behind-the-scenes production detail, and personal memories that illuminate how a song came to define its moment and persist in culture. A standout aspect is the chemistry between the hosts—one's encyclopedic music knowledge paired with the other's production-savvy lens—creating accessible, entertaining, and deeply in... more
