Emily's Self Trust Model podcast is such a gem.
She describes self trust as “a state of deep knowing that you can rely on your own internal compass to handle whatever is thrown at you in life," and then actually shows you how to build it. I love that the episodes are a manageable length and numbered (not just dated), making it easy to follow along. With her background as a trauma therapist, yoga instructor, and nomadic traveler, Emily brings deep expertise in somatic experiencing, IFS/shadow wor... more
I love listening to Emily’s episodes because she encourages you to reflect on the relationship you have with yourself. Her insights can help deepen that relationship and teach you how to nurture it regularly. I appreciate her authenticity and vulnerability, which are quite rare to find.
This podcast is such a grounding space especially as someone navigating pregnancy while exploring deeper emotional healing and self-connection. I love the way the episodes weave together IFS work, values-based living, and the tender realities of this life season. It feels like having a wise, compassionate friend reminding me to trust myself more fully. Every episode offers a gentle but powerful reminder that healing and growth can coexist with uncertainty and transformation. Highly recommend for... more
This podcast has been so helpful. I am 54 y/o woman, recently divorced after 28 years of marriage. I was looking for something that would provide guidance and exercises, and Emily’s work is perfect for me. She provides so much material, many journal prompts, and even an entire calendar of how to date yourself in order to get to know yourself. I love the IFS and somatic therapy discussions, as well as pagan practices and tarot. This podcast was a great find!
The Self-Trust Model is life changing! Grateful for this podcast to break it down.
