Normally I love this podcast and the host is delightful. I really had an issue with episode 273, the guest on this episode mentions exposing her children to use of fertility dolls by other cultures to make them aware of the beliefs of others even though it’s not what we believe, so they can be respectful??? Also, she seems more interested in talking about race than Jesus. I’m a person of color but first I’m a follower of Jesus.
Recently listened to some episodes of the podcast and really enjoy it. It is nice to have so many various topics and guests that all focus on God! Thankful for Laura’s heart to create this a few years ago to teach and encourage others.
I have been listening to the Savvy Sauce for probably over a year now. It is such a rich, challenging, gracious and informative space for my growth in Christ. Laura is such a great listener; she asks pertinent questions of her guests and the practicality and application to my life are not nebulous nor hard to grasp, but clear and inviting.
Laura does a phenomenal job of leading impactful discussions that provide opportunities for growth, conviction and encouragement - all rooted firmly in Biblical truth. I love how Laura tackles hard topics and allows God to lead her as she navigates discussions that are so timely for our world today! Every time I listen to another episode, I feel more equipped and encouraged in my own life as a wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend and lifted up in my walk with Jesus! Thank you so much for all t... more
