Screaming! Haha I’ve never screamed at the radio during your podcast before. Is Juli allowed to speak on her own podcast?? Talking about self control, yet he has zero in the conversation! Juli, he didn’t let you push back. Not a single time. This left me very frustrated. Gahhhh! lol. Love Juli with Java so much! She’s a Saint! My favorite podcast ever. Just a very frustrating episode I guess, but she handled with grace.
The modesty episode and the birth control episode were both so filled w information! Definitely worth the listen. Refreshing to hear the expanded continuum on modesty! It’s not only for females, and it’s not only regarding clothing. Yes! Finally! 👏👏👏
I’m so relieved I’m not alone in frustrations on this episode’s guest, as another review pointed out. He kept arguing about the historical precedent for what Christians believed prior to 1930, and Julie kept steering us back to applying scripture to the matter. I’m biased as an engineer, but I want clear, specific arguments, not grandiose poetic rants that substitute passion and verbosity for good biblical arguments. Nevertheless, Dr. Juli and Dr. West both treated each other with grace and this... more
It is so refreshing to see how two believers can disagree. Julie, thank you for demonstrating respectful, disagreement and engaging in a conversation that is not easy. So thankful for the way that it made me go back to the root of my belief of sex in marriage and ask the questions of scripture.
God Bless you Juli your patience with your guest in the episode was saint like. I lost track of how many times he cut you off. Almost ironic how he came close to proving his point of how men have exploited women. He might have a good argument but he could work on his delivery. His passion is great his grace not so much.
