Since Episode 1 I haven’t stopped listening to Seth. I’m a business owner and i’ve been spending my time on the food business for the last 7 years. We’re ready to move away to something else and land investing is what I’m aiming for. I look forward to acquire Seth’s training course and start my land investing business. God Bless you Seth!

  • REtipster is solid information!

I’ve bounced around to different RE sites and channels, still do. Even before internet days, I followed different subscriptions to news letters, etc. I’ve been in real estate 33 years. Since I started following REtipster that’s where I spend the majority of my precious learning time!

REtipster is hands down most useful source around! I came here for the Land, a new area for me, but I’ve really benefited from hearing about other areas of Real Estate as well. Always something useful!

I've learned a lot from the Hugh's episode on leasing cell phone towers! As an expert in the field, he shares invaluable insights on the benefits and challenges of generating revenue through this avenue. His knowledge and experience are truly impressive, making his episode a must-listen for anyone interested in exploring this opportunity.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Real Estate vs. Stocks: The Hidden Profit Link w/ Jason Brown
Q: Why use options instead of buying stocks outright?
Options let you control a position with far less capital, enabling potential outsized percentage gains and access to high-priced stocks, while requiring careful analysis of where the stock may go within a defined time frame.
Real Estate vs. Stocks: The Hidden Profit Link w/ Jason Brown
Q: What does Jason actually do day-to-day in the stock market?
He studies charts, sets alerts, conducts ongoing research, and uses options strategically, with only a portion of his time actually spent actively trading; the rest is preparation, learning, and teaching others.
The Changes Every Land Investor Must Make w/ Travis King
Q: What does good marketing actually look like right now in this business? Which channels, how often, and what should people expect?
Good marketing means consistent, multi-channel outreach with a clear budget; start with a mix (cold calling, texting, and targeted mail), measure cost per acquisition, and adjust channels based on what yields real opportunities rather than just leads.
The Changes Every Land Investor Must Make w/ Travis King
Q: One of the first things you mentioned there in terms of diagnosing the problems and going on the checklist was market selection. How big of a deal is that?
Market selection is foundational; you need to be deliberate, using data at the zip-code level along with growth trends and liquidity to pick markets where your asset types and strategy will perform, rather than randomly chasing opportunities.
The Power of "Problem Properties" w/ Courtney Fricke
Q: That end goal isn't just a closed deal; what do you mean by experience being the win?
She emphasizes long-term value: learning, skill-building, and relationship gains from each deal, which compound into future opportunities and stronger capability.
