I must’ve accidentally closed it. This review will have to be short, as I lost a lot of energy. Sorry if it’s messy!: Peta is great. But I do have some disagreements. I just want to address a review that mentioned this: Peta euthanizes animals because they are sick, or unavoidable. Which I do understand to an extent. But I d... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep.426: You've Got Questions, We've Got PETA's Answer Woman
Q: How does CAP operate and why can't it seize animals outright?
CAP operates as a community outreach program that rescues and assists animals but is not law enforcement; seizures require coordination with local authorities and animal control, with PETA providing support and reporting cruelty where appropriate.
Ep.426: You've Got Questions, We've Got PETA's Answer Woman
Q: What is the status of the Ridgeland beagle facility and what can listeners do to help?
Ridgeland faced significant violations and a potential shutdown; listeners are encouraged to contact state leaders and participate in advocacy actions via peta.org to push for adoption of dogs and enforcement of humane standards.
Ep.426: You've Got Questions, We've Got PETA's Answer Woman
Q: Is animal experimentation illegal in the United States today?
No, it is not illegal; however, there is ongoing debate, regulatory variation, and efforts to reduce or end animal use, supported by oversight, reform proposals, and better humane alternatives.
Ep. 421: Convicted Dog Abuser Wins Crufts Dog Show?
Q: Tell us who he is and what he did and why the controversy.
The winner of Best in Show, Bruin, is connected to a breeding operation run by Lee Cox, who was convicted of animal cruelty in 2001 for neglecting a dog named Adam, which culminated in serious injuries and death-like conditions for that dog, raising questions about fitness to compete and the ethics of the Crufts system.
Ep. 420 Misothery? Like Misogyny only Toward Animals says author Jim Mason
Q: So how do we move toward kinship, and is there enough time?
Mason suggests embracing kinship with animals, recognizing emotions across species, and shifting from a dominion mindset to sustainable, empathetic practices to address climate change and ecological balance.
