  • Dishonesty obfuscated by legit bona fides

Lied about the economy under President Biden the same way Trump lies now. Did not call out his cognitive function. Lastly, failed to mention Israel once when analyzing the Iran war. Dishonesty by omission.

  • Way beyond getting old

I’m so sad to say this but I can’t take it anymore.

Listener/viewer for many years. Can’t keep listening to her saying the same thing 12 times before getting to the crux of the matter. We aren’t dumb! We get the point so just report the information already.

I suppose you want the emotional response but it’s insulting after listening to the longest runway in history. I can hardly listen anymore, please, please stop.

  • I listen just the first half

I can not hear anymore ANY senator or representative, it doesn’t matter the party or if I agree, I start feeling physically uncomfortable, it’s weird but it’s very real.

So I can hear the first part of this podcast when there’s none of that.

She can play what they argue before they vote, I’m fine, she can say what they actually vote for, I like that! She could, before she present an elected politician, as part of the presentation, read very fast, like a fast ad, say who donated money and how muc... more

  • Why can’t Congress…

Just come out and say, what most Americans already can see with their own eyes. Trump is on Russias payroll. And so are the people around him.

We are tired of congress not calling this out.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Maddow: U.S. military fights war on two fronts: Iran and Trump incompetence
Q: What is the sense of urgency that you have about raising this alarm right now?
Warner emphasizes the growing risk of federal overreach in elections, the need for robust oversight, and the importance of not normalizing emergency powers that could undermine free and fair voting.
'Smells like corruption': Maddow points out bizarre pattern of overpayments for warehouses by DHS
Q: What is going on with the weird favorable treatment to Russia, when the intelligence and open-source reporting seems to be getting stronger about Russia's influence in Iran?
Ben Rhodes explains that Russia benefits from higher oil prices and sanctions waivers, while indicating the US seems unsettled and less engaged in pursuing a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, thereby allowing Putin to gain geopolitical leverage as the US appears preoccupied with the Iran conflict.
Maddow on Trump's unbridled chaos: 'We are having some drama at the moment'
Q: Given the recent killings of protesters and the global reaction, has there been an impact on turnout or people's willingness to participate in this protest movement?
Levin notes that despite fear, the public response has included large-scale participation and training efforts, with some shifts in Republican messaging to avoid provoking direct confrontation, while organizers emphasize recruitment and sustained action.
Maddow on Trump's unbridled chaos: 'We are having some drama at the moment'
Q: Indivisible, how do these large, very decentralized No Kings protests fit into the overall movement to oppose Trump and to limit his freedom of movement as president?
Ezra Levin explains that No Kings is a strategic tactic that can break through the illusion of inevitability around the regime, while also showing that democracy remains active by mobilizing millions for nonviolent protests nationwide.
Maddow: Trump admits what the attack on Iran is really for
Q: What do you make of the reports that Russia has been providing targeting information to Iran to help them in killing American service members and targeting American military and other infrastructure in the Middle East?
The guest cautiously frames the reports as something that would fit into a broader pattern of U.S. and allied actions, suggesting that the implications could be significant but noting he cannot fully corroborate specifics, while emphasizing that U.S. strategic calculus includes countering adversaries like Russia and maintaining support for Ukraine.
