After the firing of Matthew Dowd, I cannot support anything or anyone affiliated with MSNBC. MSNBC has been on the decline for years, and this is the final nail in the coffin. I have listened faithfully to the Rachel Maddow Show for over a decade, but I cannot continue to do so anymore. I had never watched Maddow’s show, so I only know it now as a weekly podcast. But as a relative newcomer, Maddow seems to treat the once-a-week stint as an afterthought. Like she’s putting the time in so she can still get the big bucks. If you compare her type of presentation to Hayes or O’donnell, there’s really no comparison. They seem much more into their presentations.
