  • Mondavi interview..disappointed!

Ilistened to today’s interview with Mondavi, and was struck not one mention of the Jewish voters, and their fear of his radicalism regarding Israel. No. mention of his not going to the Israel parade, either. I am so sad,as I usually likeJen..but, herlack of full picture discussion with Mondavi makes me very uncertain about her.so very disappointed. It would have been great for her to talk about Jewish New Yorkers, and theirambivalences about Mondavi or anger. Of the anti Israel commentshe and his ... more

  • Comey & the Supreme Court

As an attorney, I begged to differ with Mr. Comey.

The Supreme Court has no enforceable code of ethics and is the most corrupt pro corporate in my lifetime

This courts abusive use of the shadow docket makes it impossible for lower courts to follow because one paragraph rulings are useless.

  • Graham Platner

Platner surely says all the right things, but is he a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Is the GOP pulling a fast one in Maine and also S Dakota. Both of these guys were staunch republicans in the recent past. Have they really changed their stripes or are they pulling a trump to get elected only to put a knife in our backs next January. Of course one could argue that either one might be better than what we have now. Money has way of changing people.

ps-We are celebrating May Day tomorrow in rural & agricultural SE Washington State with gas prices now over $5 gal and diesel prices at $6.99 gal. The cost of fertilizer is also rising rapidly. Neither of these are helping our many farming communities.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trump plays dangerous game with 'little Trump' DNI pick
Q: Why is Bill Pulte considered a risky choice for the DNI role?
Because he has no intelligence experience, and his past actions raising concerns about privacy and potential misuse of mortgage data could compromise the security and integrity of the intelligence agencies.
'Single most dangerous' Trump appointee: Ossoff HAMMERS Trump's DNI pick as 'a thug and a hack'
Q: What makes Georgia so pivotal in this cycle?
Georgia is portrayed as a gateway to retaining Senate control, with Ossoff arguing that flipping Georgia is essential to preventing a Republican majority and that turnout there will shape national governance and checks on the White House.
Iran makes a fool of Trump as another peace deal falls apart; U.S. launches new attacks
Q: What encouraged you about the path forward for James Tallarico and the Texas race, given the data from recent elections?
The guest highlights Tallarico's record on issues like insulin co-pays and education funding, plus down-ballot gains, as signs of broader Democratic momentum that could translate into a statewide win with sustained organizing.
Iran makes a fool of Trump as another peace deal falls apart; U.S. launches new attacks
Q: And what do you tell people who are hoping that this year won't break their hearts in Texas, given the history there and the current race dynamics?
The guest explains that while past outcomes have been painful, the strength of insurgent candidates and a broad, well-organized down-ballot effort give Democrats a real chance this year, though nothing is guaranteed and voters should be engaged across the ticket.
Trump lawyer flops defending slush fund at Senate hearing
Q: What was your reaction when you found out about the addendum and what would you have asked with this information beforehand?
Van Hollen notes that Blanche's responses showed a personal attorney orientation rather than an independent AG stance, and he would have pressed on the tax-avoidance aspect of the deal.
