Due to K/g made paid restriction on their pacific series. At least I could gain information here. I don't see any cons in this podcast anyways.
Interesting history that is easy listening. Thoughtful analysis, not just a lot of facts and dates rattled off in monotone.
Truly good history and story telling without being politically correct or trying to emphasize a certain narrative. Thank you for just telling history. The pronunciation is fine, told in a Canadian accent. Thank you for producing a show like this and keep it up!
Very detailed narrative, well research but also very interesting and engaging. My grand father serviced in this war so it has special meaning to me. Thank you for the show, well done!
But good lord, the accents when he’s quoting someone are freaking HORRIBLE. Odd pauses in the middle of what I assume are sentences, odd emphasis on words, and not only that, it’s MORTAR not MOTOR. The host seems like he is reading from notes he has never seen before. I know not everyone can be Dan Carlin, but jeeze.
All of that being said I’m hanging in there. It’s interesting, and I’ve learned some things I never knew.
