Love the show, but I miss the talk of our creator. As a 10-year-old-Cristian trying to be as pure as possible, I really miss the talk about GOD. I’m gonna try to find where it all stopped. Please don’t tell me u were foolish enough to stop trusting him. If that is true, I pray someone will bring u back.

Miss Cindy, you know me better as Allegra from your video classes.

I really like your podcast and classes. They’re really educational and informative and I really love them. Plus, I always turn up the volume when it comes to the part where all the kids talk about what they’d do! My mother always LOVES that part.

TavlnWa, she SHOULD advertise the video classes- I take them, and they’re AWESOME!

One of my favorites was the EARTHQUAKES one. 🫨🌍🍃 <<<<{{[[[[[[|]]]]]]}}>>>>

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

108. Can animals and plants tell when the moon is full?
Q: On a bright, full moon night, why might a small animal choose to stay closer to cover instead of moving out in the open?
Because brighter moonlight makes it easier for predators to spot prey, so staying near cover reduces risk and helps prey survive.
106. Why do people tell stories about animals?
Q: Can you quickly name at least one reason that authors so often use animals as the main characters in stories?
Animals make stories feel familiar, help show lessons in a gentle way, and make it easier to notice things about nature, which all explain why authors have used animal-centered storytelling for so long.
103. Can a Tomato Be Cube-Shaped?
Q: What is the name of the process where people save seeds from plants with traits they like in order to grow more plants like them?
The process is called selection or selective breeding.
102. What Animal Can Punch Like a Superhero?
Q: What is the name of a water vapor bubble that forms when a mantis shrimp swings its limbs so fast that it causes a sudden drop in pressure and then collapses with a shock wave strong enough to stun its prey?
Cavitation bubble.
98. Why Is There an Orange in My Stocking?!
Q: Why was finding an orange in a Christmas stocking such a big deal a long time ago?
Oranges were rare and hard to get in the winter, and they were very healthy during the winter season.
