As a forensic social worker who consumes true crime, I really appreciate this perspective. Mental health in general is often ignored or downplayed by other true crime content creators. Thank you for diving in to the neuroscience and psychosocial aspects of it all.
Okay this podcast is IT. True crime broken down inside the brain. The way she explains the neurological and mental health aspects are not only really easy to understand but also actually really important. I’ve listened to a lot of true crime and they have been ignorant to the mental heath aspects whereas this podcast is not. She also tells the crime in a respectful manner. I really like this take on true crime, it’s different and super interesting. I do feel like since it’s a young podcast it could use a bit more professional editing, etc. But great otherwise!
